Bruce Power has teamed up with the Nuclear Innovation Institute in delivering their public education programs to students in Bruce, Huron, and Grey counties.
The programs are going to be delivered through NII Explore, a platform that enables youth to experiment, create, discover, and learn.
NII President and CEO Bruce Wallace says many of the programs were being delivered at the Bruce Power Visitor’s Centre in Tiverton.
He says with COVID-19 forcing learning institutions to close, many of these program are being moved online.
Wallace says they were trying to find ways to teach math, science, engineering, and technology in a way that is fun for students.
One of the programs that is being delivered through NII Explore is their virtual Best Ever Summer Camp.
