Province expected to release back-to-school plans

The provincial government is set to announce back-to-school plans today.

A spokeswoman for Education Minister Stephen Lecce confirms it.

The province has been hemming and hawing about how to reopen schools for months.

So far they’ve laid out three options: a full return to school, a continuation of online classes, or a hybrid model that combines the two.

A news conference is scheduled for 1 PM.
