Police looking for vehicle that got swiped after engine was left running

An unattended vehicle left running is an invitation to a thief.

Huron County OPP are investigating the theft of a 2006 Chevy Malibu taken from a parking lot in Wingham Wednesday night.

The owner claims the person who stole the car was shopping in the same store,  left, then hopped into the running car and drove away.

The owner admits they had left the vehicle running.
