The former Wingham trailer park will soon be turned into residential development.
North Huron Council recently agreed to sell the park to a developer for an undisclosed price.
Reeve Bernie Bailey says the Township had been operating the trailer park and it became no longer feasible.
He say they along with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 180 in Wingham were maintaining the property.
Bailey says they hope the new development will address the housing shortage in the area.
