Past winners in Rideau Lakes
Rideau Lakes Township held their business recognition breakfast at Lombardy Agricultural Hall Friday morning.
Three award winners were announced for their efforts in 2021.
The Business of the Year award went to Sunnyside Family Retreat, operated since the early 90s by the Scott family.
Kevin Scott took it over from his parents and operates it now with his wife Melanie and their children and says winning business of the year shows the good they’ve done in the community.
It was a lively affair which included an appearance from Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands MPP Steve Clark, who told Lake 88 events like these highlights community effort.
Gordanier Grocery won the Business Innovation award for their delivery program during the pandemic, and CEO of Arctic Acres Ben Canning was named entrepreneur of the year.
