Brooke Henderson withdraws from Lotte Championship due to illness

Bad news for local golf fans: Smiths Falls Brooke Henderson has withdrawn from the Lotte Championship.

The LPGA says that Brooke pulled out due to an illness. No further details were given.

Brooke had shot an opening round 74 which left her 10 strokes back of the leaders.

She has won this tournament twice, in 2018, then in 2019.
