Lanark County needs more Early Childhood Educators (ECEs).
Early Years Specialist with Lanark County Chelsea Coe says they’re in particular need as new rates for daycare are introduced in our listening area.
She says there are many opportunities for Early Childhood Educators across the county, so its a viable option for people entering the workforce or wanting to make a career change.
Coe says its a career that people who love kids should really consider.
You can become an ECE through Algonquin’s Perth Campus in under a year. With grants it’s quite affordable.
