Brooke set to take a run at third title in Portland as LPGA season continues

The number 5 ranked golfer in the world goes for her third title at the Portland Classic this weekend.

Brooke won the tournament twice early in her career. The back-to-back victories came in 2015 and 2016.

She goes into the tournament in second position in the Race to CME Globe standings for the season. She has two victories this year, eight top-ten finished and is coming off a top-20 performance last week.

She’ll tee off about 4 our time today and is in a group with Akaye Furue and Ruoning Yin.

Last year she finished tied for 38th.
