If you’re wondering what all the sirens were about in Carleton Place late yesterday morning, we have the answer.
The Carleton Place Fire Department knocked down a fire at a custom manufacturing firm in the Dunlop Business Park.
It started just after 11 am in the building probably best known as the former home of the Brick and IGA.
Turns out a piece of equipment was burning. They had to vent smoke from the building before turning it back over to the owner.
No one was hurt.
