Just a drill: Emergency vehicles to swarm 3M in Perth as part of an exercise

Don’t worry if you see a bunch of police cars, fire trucks and ambulances at 3M in Perth tonight.

It’s just a drill.

Lanark County OPP tells Lake 88 that their detachment is teaming up with area fire services, paramedics, the Perth site of the hospital and 3M to stage a joint emergency services training scenario this evening.

You may notice the increased emergency presence starting at about 5:30 this afternoon. They hope to be done by 8.

They also want to reassure the public that there is no concern for public safety and there is no anticipated effect on traffic in the area.
