Its a simple message from renowned author, columnist and media personality Mary Cook to the residents of Carleton Place.
It’s a good message for everyone, everywhere, on election day.
It’s also part of a video from the Carleton Place’s town-hall clerk’s office released to their social media channels trying to urge people to cast ballots in the municipal election.
The video is filled with reasons to vote from residents, town staff, and business owners who want residents to help decide the future of their community.
The election takes place on October 24th, but in Carleton Place voting by phone or online begins on the 17th.
