Carleton Place residents have the choice between three candidates for Mayor in the upcoming municipal election: Current Mayor Doug Black, current Councillor Toby Randell, and newcomer and local developer Andreas Foustanellas.
Randell told Lake 88’s Mayoral Candidates Round Table that becoming Mayor to him means being part of a group that represents the interests of residents.
Foustenellas says if he’s elected he’d like to improve communication between the town and says he’d draw on the experience of the public would help.
And Black says he will draw on his experience if he is elected for a sixth term, second as mayor. He says he knows people expect a certain level of service.
