On Wednesday, Heritage Ottawa live-streamed one of their continuing lectures about local history and launched a new virtual museum with Carleton Place highlighted as their first online exhibit.
Four graduates of Carleton University’s History & Theory of Architecture program delivered short seminars on various aspects of Carleton Place’s architectural history from a royal rail-stop visit in 1901 to shady stories of the Mississippi Hotel in the 70’s and 80’s.
Their collected works launched Heritage Ottawa’s Virtual Museum which contains more detail of a very interesting history.
