OPP Bike Patrol rolling through Perth once again

You may have noticed some OPP officers out and about in Perth on their bikes.

The Bike Patrol has been re-established in the town. It’s an effort to increase the police force’s presence in the community.

While policing the streets of the town is their priority, the bikes allow them to have easier conversations and connect with residents of the town. They’re always open to a chat.

Smiths Falls Police Service has been running a similar program for many years as both a safety and community outreach program.
