The Table Community Food Centre and several members of the public say they have run into issues voting in the town of Perth.
It appears some people are not on the voting list. You have to be on the list in order to vote online or by phone.
If you haven’t received voter information in the mail, go to Town Hall or call them right away. The Perth Town Hall is located at 80 Gore St. E. You can contact the Clerk’s Office at elections@perth.ca or 613-267-3311, Ext. 2239 or Ext. 2249.
A vote help centre is up and running at Town Hall. They can help ensure you’re on the list. Make sure you bring proper ID with your address.
They have phones and computers on site so you can cast your ballot.
The voter help centre is open until 8:00pm this evening, when the polls close.
