Smiths Falls’ new council to be sworn in, Pankow begins third term as Mayor

Smiths Falls didn’t hold its regular Monday night council meeting because the towns Inaugural Meeting for the 2022-2026 Term of office goes this evening (Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022).

Due to the ongoing renovations to town hall, the meeting will be held at the Smiths Falls Memorial Community Centre Upstairs Hall at 5:00 p.m.

It will also be live-streamed on the town’s Facebook and YouTube Pages.

Shawn Pankow will be sworn in as Mayor for a third term, while Jay Brennan, Peter McKenna and Chris McGuire serve another as Councillor.

They’re joined by newly-elected councillors Jennifer Miller, Stephen Robinson and Dawn Quinn, who makes a return to Town Hall after a term away.
