The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train makes stops in Merrickville, Smiths Falls and Perth tonight for the first time since the pandemic derailed the annual celebration two years ago.
It stops in Merrickville at Broadway and County Round 2, on the south side of the crossing near Bay St. At about 4:45 to kick things off.
Then it’s in Smiths Falls at 6:20 at the old Train Station (now the Station Theatre) on Victoria St.
Its final stop is in Perth at 7:40 at the CP Rail Yard at the end of Harriot Street.
Volunteers with the local food banks will be on hand to collect donations and non-perishable food items. But its free to attend.
Tonight’s stops feature performances by Tennille Townes (pictured) and Aysanabee.
