A special New Year’s Levee takes place in Smiths Falls tomorrow – it celebrates the Ukrainian New Year.
It’s hosted by Mayor Shawn Pankow and its the first time its being held since 2018.
The Mayor says, “More than ever, we want to recognize the people of Ukraine, both those that have chosen Smiths Falls as their new home and others across the globe that have seen their lives changed due to Russia’s invasion of this sovereign, independent nation.”
It takes place at the Smiths Falls Community Centre (the arena) from 12 until 4 and features a free Ukrainian Feast and free public skating.
