Changes are coming for customers attending Shoppers Drug Mart beginning Tuesday.
Loblaw Companies Limited announced Monday that the company is transitioning away from single-use shopping bags across all its stores, and encourage customers to bring their own bags when shopping.
Reusable bags will be available at checkout lanes for purchase if you don’t have your own.
Large companies continue to move away from single-use plastic bags with Loblaw the latest.
This change will impact all Shoppers stores in Ontario, and Loblaw pharmacies at Real Canadian Superstore, Loblaws, and No Frills.
