Lanark County is reminding residents in need about the Housing Assistance Program (or HAP) that they offer.
The program helps with rental and utility arrears, and can help if you’re at immediate risk of loosing housing. They can even help if you’re homeless.
Those who are eligible can receive up to $1,000 per year to help out. They also offer non-financial aid, such as food cards, transportation and hygiene kits.
