There’s a special exhibit spread across the Town of Smiths Falls honouring the remarkable women of the town. It’s up for the month of March in honour of today’s International Women’s Day.
The town’s Heritage House museum spearheaded the exhibit last summer. They now have 29 women featured on panels displayed in member businesses of the Smiths Falls Downtown Business Association, and at the Settler’s Ridge Mall.
The museum’s Megan McIlvenna explains.
She also tells Lake 88, they’re just getting started.
If you have someone you think should be included, give Megan a call at 613-283-6311 or email her at mmcilvenna@smithsfalls.ca.
