The Westport Jr. C Rideaus were knocked out of the NCJHL play-in round in three games against the Almonte Inferno late last month.
Head Coach Steve Merkley reflected on the best of three series last week on Junior Hockey Talk, in which they had home ice advantage.
The Rideaus took the lone game in Almonte but dropped both home decisions in close contests.
Merkley said the fan support for the clubs first season back in the Village and as a Junior C franchise was second to none and they look forward to next year.
The Rideaus are a community-owned and supported franchise.
