We continue our look at each recommendation made by the Culleton, Kuzyk & Warmerdam inquest into ending intimate partner violence (IPV) in Ontario.
Recommendation no. 24 falls under the Education and Training banner and asks that a yearly review be conducted, gauging public attitudes towards IPV to help revise and strengthen public education materials based on the findings.
Interval House Executive Director Erin Lee says the recommendation really examines overall progress of the group effort to end IPV.
Lee says the review will involve a lot of people, making a group effort.
Lee adds engaging the community is vital to make sure the message is being received, or whether they need to change tactics.
