Smiths Falls Bears defenseman Ty Campbell was named the 2022-23 Top Prospect Award recipient by the Central Canada Hockey League Wednesday afternoon.
The 2005-born Nepean, Ontario native posted career highs in goals with seven, assists with 23, and points with 30 across 49 games for the Bears this season.
Campbell, who is featured on the NHL Central Scouting watch list and eligible for the upcoming NHL draft, was also part of Canada East’s silver medal World Junior A Challenge team.
