The DOCS on Ice Tournament filled local rinks in Perth and surrounding areas this weekend with more than 900 healthcare workers raising money for a great local cause – PEP (Pep).
Dr. Austin MacDonald from Guelph, says the local organizers put on great tournament, telling us he’s really enjoyed his time in Perth.
In addition to being a great time for all, the annual cross-Ontario tournament always raises money for several local charities.
MacDonald, says they’re were raising money for a great cause, but the tournament also allows participants to make some key connections.
This year, the main recipient was PEP Therapeutic in Perth. It will be a while before we get the final tally of how much was raised, but PEP says they are very grateful to the Docs, both local and those who visited.
