Continuing our look back on the Perth Blue Wings championship season this week, goaltender Brady McEwan was named playoff MVP following the team’s Barkley Cup victory.
He appeared in all 14 playoff games, posting a 12-1-1 record with a 0.948 save percentage, and 2.10 goals against average.
McEwan said it’s a nice accolade but his teammates helped a lot.
Head Coach Bryan Greer described McEwan as a difference maker.
McEwan was also named Goaltender of the Year following the regular season, going 24 and 4 with a 0.943 save percentage and 2.03 GAA with six shutouts.
