The fire at 75 Harvey Street, a social housing unit, that has displaced about 30 people from their homes has left them scrambling to find a place to live, which is why The Table Community Food Centre is trying to help out.
Executive Director Ramsey Hart says they’re doing what they can.
Hart says this is one of those times where relying on the relationships they’ve built through their community work really helps as groups band together to help in a crisis.
Lanark OPP and the Fire Marshall continue to investigate how the blaze started.
