Due to the MRI construction taking place at the Smiths Falls Site, the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital is asking patients and visitors to access the hospital via the Emergency Department starting Monday, May 1.
The drop off lane at the Elmsley St. Main Entrance of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning from 6am to 4pm. due to extensive rock excavation, removal and cement work.
It is anticipated that the drop off lane will be closed Monday to Wednesday but may be closed for the duration of the week.
The sidewalk along the drop-off lane is not impacted by the excavation, so patients who are able and visitors attending the Smiths Falls Site can enter/exit by the Main Entrance.
The Emergency Department entrance remains accessible for patient drop-off and pick-up.
