We continue our look at each recommendation made by the Culleton, Kuzyk & Warmerdam inquest into ending intimate partner violence, or IPV, in Ontario.
Today we look at number 33 which says the province must provide services aimed at addressing perpetrators of IPV.
Lanark County Interval House Executive Director Erin Lee says they hope to see several approaches to make this happen, ensuring that each case is viewed individually.
She adds communication between different stakeholders, which was lacking during the Renfrew County femicides, is crucial moving forward.
Lee says the recommendation could go a long way to prevent a perpetrators from re-offending
