We’re looking at another recommendation made by the Culleton, Kuzyk & Warmerdam inquest into ending intimate partner violence (or IPV) in Ontario.
Today we look at number 42 which says the province must co-train justice system personnel and IPV service providers on the risk assessment framework and tools so that there is a common understanding for those who support or deal with survivors.
Lanark County Interval House Executive Director Erin Lee says its all about collaboration.
Lee says organizations getting on the same page can only benefit the effort to end IPV.
