Premier Doug Ford says the province will review and reevaluate all Greenbelt lands, which includes the 14 parcels surrounded by the controversy that resulted in local MPP Steve Clark resigning his cabinet post as housing minister.
Ford reiterated Tuesday that he wasn’t pleased with the selection process of the lands.
Ford said Clark’s resigning from the ministerial position shows his true colours.
Clark said his decision to step down was to avoid being a distraction from the work being done to address the housing crisis.
Local leaders are watching what the province does with the greenbelt very closely, wondering if lands in our listening area could be re-zoned for further development.
