Next time you head into the LCBO in Perth, Smiths Falls, or Carleton Place, you’ll need to bring your own bag. They’re not offering paper bags any more.
The Liquor Control Board of Ontario stopped using them Tuesday, September 5th.
They guess they’ll remove about 135 million paper bags from its stores across the province each year – the equivalent of saving more than 188,000 trees.
Free eight-pack carriers and boxes are still available at our local locations, and beyond.
