It’s a new-look Perth Blue Wings squad taking on the tall order of defending the Barkley Cup.
The Blue Wings tore through the competition a season ago, winning 49 of 56 games en route to the championship.
But as is the case in junior hockey, the roster turnover’s aplenty.
As Head Coach and co-owner Bryan Greer explains, that’s even more the case when you built a powerhouse.
Greer predicts this year’s team will be a quick-moving squad.
Greer says the leadership of the five returning players will be paramount, as they know how much work it takes to be called champions by years end.
