Franche referred to last year’s Richmond Royals winning their division after a last place season the year before as a prime example.
The Alexandria Glens take on the Ottawa Jr. Canadians this evening to begin the regular season.
The Perth Blue Wings first see action Friday night as they host the Carleton Place Jr. Canadians, while the Athens Aeros are in Embrun. Smiths Falls take on the Aeros Sunday afternoon for their regular season opener.
