Ontario Premier Doug Ford once again took a shot at the federal carbon tax Tuesday and urged Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to remove it.
The premier says it’s a far-reaching expense for taxpayers.
Ford urged Trudeau to “play fair,” and scrap the carbon tax entirely after the feds exempted those using oil to heat their homes from the tax for three years.
He says only 5% of Ontario businesses and homes fall under that category.
