LGL’s Medical Officer of Health stresses the importance of annual flu and COVID shots

The Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is once again calling on all residents to get their flu vaccines and COVID-19 boosters.

Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li tells getting shots for flu and Covid is important.

Li says the large clinics we saw during the COVID emergency are no longer needed, and the shots are easy to come by.

RSV vaccines are also available for 60+ residents. Contact your healthcare provider for more information on that.
