Lanark Lodge continues to feel the impact of the Health Human Resource Crisis.
By now the shortages and the struggles that come with it have been well-documented across the province and country.
But Executive Director Carey Duncan provided some staggering figures that really hit the point home.
But that’s not sustainable, as Duncan notes.
There’s some good news. Duncan said the recent job fair was well attended and expects a bit of a staffing boost from that, and they’ve hired 8 RPNs and a pair of RNs in the last sixth months.
We’ll have more on the outside of the box steps the Lodge and the county are looking into surrounding recruitment later this week.
