The Carleton Place Canadians take on the Nepean Raiders Saturday night for the first time since the teams made a trade.
Lleyton McLean, a forward from Rideau Lakes and reigning EOJHL MVP for the Perth Blue Wings last season, was acquired by the Canadians two weeks ago.
Owner and General Manager Brent Sullivan said on Junior Hockey Talk he liked what he saw from McLean in his first dozen games this year in the CCHL with the Raiders.
McLean has 12 points in 15 games so far this season.
Forwards Thomas Dickey and Dylan Pollock went the other way.
Sullivan said the move was made to make a change and add some offence to his faltering club.
The sides meet in Carleton Place at 7:15 Saturday night and in Nepean Sunday afternoon.
