Steve Fournier has been elected Lanark County warden for 2024.
He beat out Christa Lowry, who was last warden in 2021.
Prior to the vote being held, both councillors were given the opportunity to speak to their priorities if elected.
Fournier highlighted a few.
After his win, Fournier was brief but appreciative in his initial remarks to his colleagues.
Fournier will chair his first council meeting tonight.
