Smiths Falls Police with the help of the Lanark County OPP arrested and charged two individuals after a search warrant was executed at a Smiths Falls residence on Helen Street last Thursday.
Cocaine, opioids, firearms and more were seized.
34-year-old Benjamin Duhamel is facing five charges:
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition – two counts
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a schedule I substance – Opioid (other than heroin)
57-year-old Vernon Watts was charged with possession of cocaine.
Both are from Smiths Falls and have Perth court dates in January.
