The Chair of the Maple View Lodge Redevelopment Fundraising Committee, Doug Struthers says the Committee has officially surpassed the halfway mark of its $3 million fundraising goal.
Funds raised from the campaign for the 192 bed Athens facility will provide quality of life improvements such as resident lifts, rehabilitation equipment, and recreational amenities.
The Lodge also recently received an additional boost of nearly $10.7 million in provincial funding for the $84 million project.
