One report of shoplifting led to the seizure of a sizeable amount of stolen property and three arrests.
Lanark County OPP responded to a McNeely Avenue business in Carleton Place on Monday afternoon to assist the store loss prevention officer with the arrest of multiple theft suspects.
Further investigation into this occurrence lead to the recovery of over $15,000 worth of stolen property, which also appears to be the result of retail theft.
24-year-old Kacper Ciruon of Scarborough, 37-year-old Bartlomiej Becmer, and 31-year-old Grecian Goman, both of Mississauga, are all charged with one count each of Theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
