Example of a tiny home
Cornerstone Landings Youth Services application to have their long-anticipated tiny home on Drummond Street was recently denied by Perth Council.
The non-profit was facing additional fees to revamp their application and try again by way of $2,000.
The horseshoe wanted to avoid that obstacle from having the group from applying again, and eventually passed a motion to take $1,000 each from Mayor Judy Brown and Deputy Mayor Ed McPherson’s unused discretionary and expense accounts to cover the costs.
We’ll be speaking to Cornerstone’s Terrilee Kelford on In Focus Monday after the noon news on Lake 88.1.
