Dan and Wanita Andress entered 2024 as retirees.
After 15 years in Smiths Falls operating Andress Your Independent Grocer, the couple called it a career on a farewell post on Facebook December 31st.
In that post, they thanked their staff for their hard work and dedication, as well as the community for the continued support each day.
The new owner of Smiths Falls YIG is Sylvie Jonsson, who takes over February 24th but is there now learning the ins and outs.
Jonsson was previously a co-owner at Jonsson’s YIG in Kemptville.
