About 30cm of snow fell in the Town of Smiths Falls during the recent storm.
Crews continue to work to clear the sidewalks over the next couple of days.
Public Works Director Paul McMunn acknowledged there’s been lots of public complaints about snow removal after the storm, and explains this is the first year they’re doing things differently from years past.
McMunn said he wouldn’t use the negative comments they’ve received as a measuring stick, and walked council through what they’re trying out this year.
Council requested a review of this process in 30 days to determine its viability.
