Acting Chief of Smiths Falls Police Jodi Empey briefly discussed her takeaways from public feedback portion of the strategic plan SFPS is developing.
Empey says overall, she was pleased with the amount of input and generally not surprised by what was said.
She contests the town remains in a healthy place.
A full report of the plan will be presented later this year to see what the community said in detail.
