The Health Unit is sending letters to parents of certain school-aged children, reminding them about immunizations needed for school.
Public Health Nurse and Immunization Coordinator Erin McLean says making sure your kids records are up to date is easy to do.
McLean says it isn’t always easy to get the shots your kids need from your family healthcare provider, so they are running some clinics.
If you don’t have the records, contact your primary healthcare provider. The health unit also has clinics set up to help get your child up to date.
