Local artist James Keelaghan is nominated for a Juno Award in the Traditional Roots Album of the Year category for his album “Second Hand.”
He’s been nominated five times throughout his career and won his first Juno in 1994 in the same category for “My Skies.”
He said being nominated this year was a total surprise, because he thought the album was eligible for only last year’s Junos.
He says it took a lot of people to piece the album Second Hand, and it was a joy for him to get back in the studio.
The 2024 Juno Awards take place March 24th in Halifax.
