Melissa Rainsville is asking the TikTok and Facebook worlds to share her emotional appeal to find her missing brother Matthew.
Matthew McGrath, who is 52 was last seen January 18th leaving his apartment heading for downtown Carleton Place.
Matthew is described as 5’11, 150 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. It’s believed he was wearing a brown leather jacket, blue jeans and black running shoes when he went missing.

Please ask the police if they have put the canine unit on the trail (the trail near his house that heads south)? We keeps seeing the same old story in the press with NO updates from the police. It would be nice if they would tell us what they have done so far! If the public has no updates on the policework then the public can’t really help. The snow is almost all gone, so if they can put the dogs on the trail with a scent of one of his shirts or sock etc., they will have an easier time of searching. When Matt went missing there was lots of snow and it was cold. I saw the police getting on the snowmobiles one night, but weather they were looking for him or not WE DON’T KNOW, because there is no updates!
