The Smiths Falls Police Service has issued a warning about inapropriate cell phone and social media use in the town, particularly among kids aged 10-18.
Constable Sean Keogan says sometimes kids get themselves in too deep.
Parents are urged to closely monitor their children’s online activities, including the apps and games they use. Authorities emphasize the risks associated with online communication, especially regarding privacy and content permanence.
